AMD's Radeon HD 6670 Review

AMD's Radeon HD 6670 is the last variant of the HD 6000 series with the range price around and under $100. The HD 6670 itself is intended to replace the HD 5670. If compared to its closest brother, HD 6570, the Radeon HD 6670 is slightly stronger thanks to its faster GPU and memory Clock.

Just like other video cards on Radeon HD 6000 series, HD 6670 is powered by Turks GPU and comes with Graphics core DirectX11 and Eyefinity technology features. The "Turks" GPU has eight Streaming Multiprocessor with 480 Stream Processors, 24 Texture Units, 8 ROP Units. The standard core clock specification for AMD HD 6670 is 800 MHz with 5000 MHz effective memory clock (DDR5 version).

Note: with 1 GB memory size, the XFX HD 6670 will struggle to run games like The Witcher 3 that requires video card with at least 2 GB memory size for 1080p resolutions.
