Not only as the alternative of Unreal but they want it to compete against the game engine from Chinese developer.
Immense engine is planed not only for gaming, but also for 3D simulation and logistic.
And of course the AI integration as the main selling or the focus of this engine.
Certainly the use of AI to game engine is not the first thing since Unity has brought it through Unity AI Beta that is able to build the game asset by using prompt just like how you use ChatGPT.
