Testing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter: Remake with GT 1030
Finally the remake old school RPG has been asked for is right here, well the games was released last year but unfortunately we only have the chance to cover it right now.
Yes this is the remake of the same games based on 2015 release on PC, or even further the PSP games generation released decades ago that started the Trails series.
You can find more than ten games from the series until today with one games is connected to each other.
The remake itself was first announced in 2024, and later was released not only on Steam but also on Switch and PS5.
With the same release date from US and Japan, unlike the previous game release, gamers didn't have to be ruined by spoilers.
As the remake, it actually is different from the original games, even the dialogues. Yes you experience the same storylines, but the journey will totally feel different. The area looks bigger than the original which is also caused by the third person perspective from the games, rather than the fix camera from the OG.
You play as Joshua and Estelle Bright as juniors bracer that are gonna face the enemies that may threaten the peace of the kingdom.
To play the games steam page recommends you to run it with Ryzen 5 1600 which is not actually the fastest in the class. Well given the price especially when you buy it secondhand, the CPU is still powerful enough for 1080p depending on the games.
The games itself only require 8Gb ram which is so fortunate seeing how expensive the RAM price in the moment.
Next is the GPU, GTX 1050 and it's expected gamers can run this remake in 1080p without any issue.
GTX 1050 itself is not actually powerful component for the graphics card of course. Certainly it's enough since this remake is not actually a demanding games with its 3D anime game style.
Personally I’ve tried the games with GT 1030 but i must satisfy with 30 fps or lower in 720p for the performance. Can't really blame the card though since GT 1030 is already too far behind even though it was decent when when Nvidia released it in 2017.
Well talking about weak option like GT 1030 then you can visit Best Graphics Card Under 100 Dollars with the list that are basically same with it.
