Throwback when two AAA games were announced at same time, Mafia Old Country and also Borderlands 4.
Back then these two games were introduced with cinematic trailer so just a little information about the gameplay aspect.
Especially Borderlands 4 that faced a lot of technical problem on Steam platform.
It was flooded with negative reviews due to technical problem even at the points where gamers failed to finish the games. Unreal Engine 5 was suspected, regardless the "2,5D" graphics, the games turned out so heavy to play by many modern PCs.
The games problem is not only where it was played, but also when you exit the games and it still took the memory RAM of the computer.
Not to mention about frame rate drop so bad it was named with “Stutter-lands 4”.
People who use graphics card like RTX 5080 was struggling to handle the games on 60 FPS in 4K showing how awful the performance from Borderlands 4.

That said the requirement is relatively too high considering the visual. Apparently the open world theme also ruins the games just like Monster Hunter Wilds that also struggles with optimization.
Luckily almost no trouble for console games who play this games, outside of the POV slider. No performance issue at all like what PC gamers feel.

Well given the condition of the games, buying it on discounted price is most sensible option, beside playing the games on console.
