It's hard to find the new product from both RX 560 and GTX 1050 Ti, so getting the secondhand product is only the option since both series were released almost ten years ago.
RX 560
Starting with this AMD graphics card which was decent back then in 2017 and was considered as mid level GPU for gaming.
For fair result let's test a "heavy" games that was released in the same year, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
See that RX 560 manages to play the games in ultra at 1080p settings and reach above 40 fps which is still decent.
Certainly for 720p, 768p or even 900p many games can be played with ideal settings. However, the video card is actually bad for 1080p gaming, especially for new release.
RX 560 itself is a good upgrade if you still use a really bad GPU like GT 710 since you can see "extreme" difference between both product. But if you use a video card like GT 1030 or RX 550 then consider to get better option and avoid this RX 560.
Moreover, this AMD also released the RX 560D which is slightly slower than standard RX 560 with the difference up to 3 percent according to Techpowerup. You can notice the slower base & memory clock and also less shading units, 896 compared to RX 560 with 1024 shading units.
Of course you don't want to torture this RX 560 with a games like Monster Hunter Wilds where a better and stronger graphics card like RX 6600 can't also handle the games good enough.
GTX 1050 Ti
One of the best graphics at the time it was released since it could play many games in 1080p with decent settings.
Of course you can still play games like older series from Call of duty and even god of war, with settings that are adjusted.
Yes this video card is still able to run COD Modern Warfare remake on normal settings at 1080p with 40 to 50 average fps.
For god of war games test, the video above show the games with varied setting and resolution. To get play the games on playable frame rate you can set it on low even on 1080p.
The watt consumption is relatively same with RX 560 above, 75 watts that don't require additional connector. However there are certain model that require 1x6pin like Colorful GTX 1050 Ti. It draws same power but of course the additional power should do better if you need to overclock it.
Conclusion
It's best to see the comparison between RX 560 and GTX 1050 Ti, one of them from video above. You can see the GTX 1050 Ti is the winner with 10 or 15 better AVG fps.
For better video card certainly GTX 1050 Ti is the best here, meanwhile RX 560 is also a nice option if you want the more affordable card.
