By default, the operating system used in general does not provide a feature to connect the display to the monitor through USB 3.0. Therefore, Asus provides a special application to help the operating system recognize the MB168B+ monitor, EZLink.
You need to install the application first and after it's installed, the MB168B+ can be used simply by connecting the monitor to the computer with a USB 3.0 cable. You may also need to update the USB 3.0 drivers to the latest version for getting the best capabilities of this monitor.
Now the question is, what is the best method to use this monitor??. Obviously, one way you can try is by holding it like a tablet. However, without a touch screen function, using it like a tablet might be a little difficult for you.
Therefore, Asus uses a creative way to help you position the monitor by the use of "ASUS Smart Case". Yes, its smart case can be used as a stand for MB168B+.
One interesting function featured by Asus in this monitor is the auto-rotate, which allows user to change the orientation of the MB168B+ from portrait to landscape simply by moving the monitor to the desired position. You can use this feature to change the screen orientation in accordance with the needs, such as changing the screen orientation to portrait when opening news sites or to landscape when opening video content. However, one thing to note that the USB 3.0 cable supplied by Asus for this monitor is not too long.

Quite good to display multimedia content
After trying the features on this MB168B+ monitor, we moved on to try the capabilities of the monitor displaying the video content through the USB 3.0 interface connection. Based on our testing, non-Full HD video can be displayed properly on the monitor. For Full HD video, from some of the files that we tried, we noticed a little lag. However, by considering if this monitor is intended mainly for office applications, this monitor's ability to run multimedia content through the USB 3.0 interface are quite good.
